We are proud to be craft brewed with organic Citra and Mosaic hops. All of our varieties including H2OPS Original and Grapefruit are USDA Organic Certified. Surprisingly, less than 1% of the US hop crop is certified organic, so we work closely with these farmers to contract in advance to ensure that we have supply. We strongly believe that the best tasting hops are organic.

On one of our trips to visit with our hop farmers, we learned that they plant their organic hops in fields surrounding their houses on the farm. To us this says a lot about the health properties of organically produced hops.

Q: One of the questions we get is why we are not Non GMO Project certified like some hop water brands?

A: The reason is that 100% of hops globally are Non GMO. Because all hops are Non-GMO, those who advertise that their hops are Non-GMO (in our view) are using unethical marketing practices by trying to trick consumers into thinking that their hops are special.

A little known fact is that if a food or beverage brand has an organic seal, the ingredients must be Non-GMO. Organic is a much higher standard than Non-GMO.
